Major feature: “P2P Scanning and Files”, a new way to scan using a phone or tablet.
- Connects WDIScan on Jira (desktop) with a phone or tablet, using a local WebRTC connection (peer-to-peer), no app required;
- Scan documents, images and take photos using the device camera;
- Three camera modes “Paper”, “Image” and “Photo”;
- Built-in perspective correction, image enhancements and paper size detection;
- The resulting files are immediately sent to WDIScan on Jira (desktop).
- Ability to send any other files from the device (bonus feature);
Scanning using USB and network scanners is now called “Classic Scanning”.
